Cabin Leading is at the core of what we do. These roles focus on leading young people throughout their programs, through activities, games, meals, chapels, cabin times and more. We have two kinds of cabin leading roles: Cabin + Bus leaders, and YDP Mentors.

This position requires theological teaching based on the Mennonite Brethren confession of faith. Attendance to Crew Camp summer training, including online modules, is mandatory for cabin leaders. Tasks include leading YDP participants in work duties, teaching or facilitating discipleship sessions, running team-building and community-oriented activities, and more. Applicants for this role should be flexible, servant-hearted, positive role models, who have a heart for the individual growth of their participants, and have experience in leading and discipling young people. Note: successful candidates will be assigned to lead a specific stage of the YDP program based on need and gifting. Must be at least 19 years of age. This position requires theological teaching based on the Mennonite Brethren confession of faith. Must be available June 22 - August 22, 2026 to attend Support Crew + YDP Mentors Training, Crew Camp and all weeks of our Summer Program. Attendance to all of these dates is mandatory.
