Outdoor Education
Stillwood has everything you need to inspire pupils in the great outdoors. We offer both indoor and outdoor classroom facilities. When you’re not in a class setting, spend your time in our wonderful wilderness surroundings, where kids can practically learn about what they see around them, as well as related subjects of your choosing. Try some geo-caching as part of your program, or discuss other suggestions with us.
At Stillwood, we have enthusiastic instructors for exciting activities such as archery, high ropes, and waterfront sports. How about a two-hour hike in the wilderness? Besides our meeting areas, rooms, activities, and facilitators, the Stillwood experience features comfortable accommodation and delicious food. Our picnic shelter makes a great place for a camp-out, or an outdoor meal from the kitchen. It’s like take-out from a great restaurant!
Stillwood hosts mainly schools, which come for one day, or more. We offer a special rate on midweek retreats, for schools and individual classes. (Other groups are also welcome midweek, and will receive a rate reduction.) Please call or email, and let's talk about taking your classroom outside.
